When I’m down and troubled
I run to you for refuge
I turn to you for relief and strength
You are my strong tower, a safe haven!

When I can’t understand myself and lonely
You comfort me and make things clear
You showed the right path to take
You are my light in this dark world!

When I need a friend to talk to
You are there ready to listen
With a loving heart you understand me
You know how I feel, you are a real friend!

When I look for answers to my questions
You turn me to your words and promises, clear and sure
I find the answers, now I see things in your perspective
